traditional 1000 Islands Shore Dinner

What a better way to top off a perfect day of fishing than a traditional 1000 Islands Shore Dinner. For as long as fishing guides have been taking anglers onto the St. Lawrence River, the shore dinner has been a part of that tradition. And the tradition is alive and well with St. Lawrence River Fishing Charters.

Some where around noon Captain John will take you to his island picnic grounds and prepare some of the morning's catch for your shore dinner. Enjoy a bacon and tomato sandwich as an appetizer while fresh fish sizzle in the pan, soon you and your friends will be feasting on the mornings catch. Along with your catch is a crisp green salad with 1,000 Islands dressing, potatoes with their jackets on, topped off with french toast, plenty of maple syrup and a cup of real guide's coffee. What a life, your memories of the shore lunch will remain long after the trip is over.

Box lunches can be taken out for the ardent fisherman who would prefer to pass up the shore lunch and keep on fishing, but if you have never had a shore dinner the captain recommends you give it a try!

The shore dinner adds $25.00 per person to the cost of your trip, but plan on it replacing lunch and dinner.
